Undergraduate general psychology students listening to podcasts from lectures of their professor scored significantly higher than the students attending the in-class lecture (03:05)
Three primary lessons:
- By having the lecture on iPods, the students could listen to the lecture multiple times
- Having "chapter" markers in the recording made it easy to jump to different sections when needed
- Taking notes - just like those in class - made a difference
88% of the participants preferred the podcast method.
