"But what are we going to talk about?"
Today's (6/8/06) Coffee Conversation was just me and Marc. I heard and learned three things from today's process. You can listen (two minutes) to my learnings below and/or read them on the next page of this post.
Talk to you soon, Tim.
- "I really enjoy and appreciate these Coffee Conversations." Folks like the opportunity to practice and participate in their dialogues before doing it in the real world. So, I will keep providing the free space to gather, share and practice. Regardless of how many folks join me, tell me ahead of time or just join the call at the last minute.
- Give the topic beforehand. Selecting the topic from the group makes the practice even more real, but to decide whether to participate or not, people want me to state a topic. From here on out, I will provide a topic to the conversation in the email announcements.
- Finally, registrations. I, or someone from TMG, will always be on the line at the appointed hour. But I will begin asking folks to register on the site with your name and email, just to give us some clue as to who might be attending.
Thanks again to everyone who has participated over time either in the calls themselves or in email exchanges with me about the calls. I enjoy hearing your issues and doing what I can to help. See you on the 28th.
Talk to you soon, Tim.
